Here's Ivan Markovic explaining the medium he chose to spread to the world, the revolution he and his peers started in Serbia, as youngsters . Conventionally, people (revolutionists) choose to spread their message through means such as books and movies. But Markovich, a lesser known Serbian activist explains how he, a production company and a Baltimore-based game company decided to create a video game that gives the players to practice a non-violent movement. The fact that the whole concept is based on a non-violent movement is what fascinates me the most. Very much different from the usual video games where young adults are required to use violent tactics win their game. He explains what the various elements of the game are in this video. I haven't checked it out myself but I'd like to believe that the game 'is fun and not for fun' like Markovic claims. Here's their site that has more on the movement, the principle and guidelines for a non-violence revolutionist. There have been gaes like Age of Empires, Ceaser or Roller coaster Tycoon in the past that let the gamer practive his leadership and manageent abilities, this game is in a whole league of its own by trying to create an environment that prepares gamers to launch a non-violent movement.
